Dr. Christina M. Kishimoto is the founder of Voice4Equity LLC. She is a native of New York City, and is a bold advocate for social justice and a national leader on education policy, leadership and equity matters. Prior to founding Voice4Equity, Christina led education systems in Hartford Connecticut, Gilbert Arizona. Most recently she served as the State Superintendent of Education for the State of Hawaii overseeing a $3.2 billion budget and 40,000 full and part-time staff members in education, finance and land/building operations. Prior to PK-12 education, Dr. Kishimoto served in higher education for 8 years and several years on the talent management and portfolio accounting teams of a global benefits consulting firm in New York City. She has served on a number of private and public boards and continues this involvement. Dr. Kishimoto believes in the power of community to lift all people.
