Summary of Duties
This position is responsible for oversight and support of payroll functions on the Vancouver campus. This position also serves as the subaward administrator for the Vancouver campus and supports post-award grants administration. Must exercise independent judgment and decision-making and work collaboratively with others. Performs a variety of fiscal work which includes maintaining spreadsheets and preparation of fiscal reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Fiscal Specialist 1 AND 15 quarter hours OR 10 semester hours of college level accounting; OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance.

  • Experience processing payroll.

  • Experience with grant post award administration.

  • Experience with creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets.

20% Payroll Review
20% Campus Time and Absence Tracking and Oversight
10% Personnel Activity Support
5% Other duties as assigned.

Work Location and Schedule: This position is scheduled to be on campus M-F 8am-5pm. The position is not eligible for remote/hybrid work assignments.

Monthly Salary: $3,728 to $4,987 A-M, Range R043. Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
