Description
The unemployment rate in Clark County has more than tripled in the last decade—from 4.1 percent in April 2000 to 13.6 percent in March 2010. Scott Bailey, Regional Economist, Washington State Employment Security Department, will offer insight into what makes economic recovery challenging in Southwest Washington. Next, John Nofsinger, Washington State University Pullman, will share his research on psychological biases, emotions and societal influences that shape our financial decisions and therefore the economy. All lectures are $25 per ticket. Registration is now available for all events in the series.
