Description

The 2nd Grade team at Walnut Grove Elementary would like the help of a city planner, urban planner, or city architect to come and help launch their Project-Based Learning unit. The guest will bring some images/visuals for students to see the process of city planning and elements of a city-scape. Students will be creating their own local businesses to benefit their community and will be designing their storefront as a part of the project. The hope is for the guest speaker to present students with a "call-to-action" for new businesses in the area.
