Come to WSU Vancouver's two-day symposium to discuss the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act and the Freedom Summer that spawned it. The symposium will examine the value of interracial unity, coalition building and political education and activism. Part 1: Recalling the Power of Racial Coalition and Activism Participate in a panel discussion about the Freedom Summer of 1964. Stay for the film screening of "Mississippi, Is This America?" This event is free and open to all. Located in the Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110.
