 The GVCC hosts a free business focused workshop
For Small Business Month, our speaker will be Community Mediation!

Topic:
Communication and Conflict Management Styles

What do you do as a small business owner when your communication style seems to be adding to conflict when you are trying to get things done with your employees, vendors and clients?  This workshop will address the 5 different conflict management styles, help you identify your style and ways to better manage your interactions.

Speaker: Sunny Gutierrez
Sunny began her alternative dispute resolution career in 1999. She joins CMS from Maui, Hawaii where she was in private mediation practice providing services to families and workplaces. She also taught communication and conflict resolution at University of Hawaii Maui College and Manoa-Outreach. She will resume teaching at WSU Vancouver this summer.  Sunny has a Master?s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Management from Cal State Dominguez Hills and is on the Board of Directors for the Association for Conflict Resolution.

 This event is FREE and held at the GVCC's office (1101 Broadway, Suite 100 Vancouver WA - Metered Parking).
