Description

Please join the GVCC on Tuesdays and Thursdays in March for our eight-part workshop series, Take Aim with Google, presented by Comcast Business. Doors will open for each workshop at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served by Simply Thyme Catering. Each instructor will begin promptly at noon.
3/15: The Future of Google Search (SEO 201)
Presenter: Jason Wright, Webfor
Description: In this session you will learn about citation sources, on-page factors, inbound links, and other factors that impact your businesses Google search results. Kevin will be discussing what we've been told, what has been working, and where the future of search is moving. This workshop will touch on Data Aggregators that provide value and answer questions people have been roadblocked. Did you know the centroid isn't always located downtown? Why are you not rankings for your virtual location? Do not miss this informative Google search session.
Bio:
Jason has over ten years of digital marketing agency experience and worked with some of the top minds and businesses in the industry including Tony Robbins, Crock Pot, Weedmaps, Rochester University, Rebound, PeaceHealth and many others. His background includes a range of skills from PHP development, to design, UX and conversion rate optimization. This experience has provided him with the knowledge and expertise necessary to consider myself one of the foremost thought leaders on digital strategy.
Wright is a Clark College alum, with two degrees in Graphics Communications and Web Multimedia. When not at work, he produces independent and professional films, commercials, etc. He writes, directs and edits most features. He gives back too, by funding small local film projects with several Producer credits to his name. He always finds time to hike the Columbia River Gorge, explore the Portland Metro area, play some disc golf with friends and bird watch.
