Description

Please join the GVCC on Tuesdays and Thursdays in March for our eight-part workshop series, Take Aim with Google, presented by Comcast Business. Doors will open for each workshop at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served by Simply Thyme Catering. Each instructor will begin promptly at noon.
3/20: Google Maps, Visibility & Interaction

Presenter: Kristeen Millett, Sprout Digital
Description: • Workshop Description: An interactive in-depth tutorial on how to optimize your business information and marketing through the Google My Business listing platform, commonly referred to as Google Maps. This workshop will share best practices for business listing fulfillment (the do's and dont's). We will also cover how to optimize your Google My Business listing to create increased customer interaction along with sharing new exciting marketing techniques. You will definitely want to bring your laptops to this workshop!
Bio: Kristeen Millet is the Digital Marketing Manager for Sprout Digital, a subsidiary of the Columbian newspaper. At Sprout Digital, her team is laser focused on the digital needs and goals of their clients. Her mission is creating awesome well indexed websites that deliver a positive user experience. Kristeen is always excited to share the next new internet or Google enhancement. She has more than 30 years’ experience in all aspects of business marketing, business management and business ownership. Kristeen consulted on her first website build in 1995 while working in California for a large advertising company. She moved to Washington in 2006 and has continued to consult with businesses concerning their print and digital marketing needs. She is also an entrepreneur. Kristeen and her husband broke ground on their first SportClips Haircut location in May of 2009 and now own all 3 SportClips in the Vancouver area. Kristeen has also been involved with the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce since 2006 and has been a Chamber Ambassador for 6 years. Every morning at 5am you will find Kristeen out in the rain, snow, sleet or hail tending to her farm animals on her little 5 acre slice of heaven. If she is not found in front of a computer or posing for a ribbon cutting, you will find her riding off into the sunset on one of her trusty steeds (that means horse).
