3/27: Breaking Down Google's Ranking Factors
Presenter: Scott Hendison, Search Commander, Inc.
Description: From "on-page optimization" to external considerations, Googles’ search ranking algorithm considers over 200 different factors to determine which pages should rank at the top of the search results for a given search query. While this comprehensive session won't be able to cover all of those factors, it will provide an enormous amount of information showing you what you need to know to help increase your odds of ranking successfully. Be sure to come to this session prepared to take notes and ask questions.
Bio: Scott Hendison is the president of Search Commander, Inc. an internet consulting firm in Portland, working primarily with small to medium businesses. He began his internet marketing career selling software online in 1998, and began marketing for others in 2002. Scott is board member of the east Portland Chamber of Commerce, and is one of the founders of SEMpdx, a non-profit educational association that holds monthly educational digital marketing events, as well as an annual conference that attracts speakers and attendees nationwide.
