About the Presenters: Dr. Cooper, Valedictorian of his class, graduated from Western States Chiropractic College (WSCC) in 2005. He is a native of the Pacific Northwest from Eugene, Oregon. After graduating from South Eugene High School, he ventured south to play soccer at the University of Redlands in southern California, but quickly realized his love for the northwest and headed back to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon where he received his Bachelor of science in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Cooper spent the one year interim between the U of O and WSCC as a pharmacy tech and soon decided that he wanted to be involved in alternative health care and is working toward his Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology.
In 2006 Dr. Cooper opened his own practice at Cooper Chiropractic and Massage Therapy in Vancouver Washington. Dr. Cooper has a special interest in sports injuries, auto/work injuries, rehabilitation, disc injuries, and health maintenance.
Dr. Cooper spends his free time with his wife, two daughters and two dogs. Dr. Cooper also enjoys Crossfit, wakeboarding, snowboarding, running, fishing, and camping.
Dr. Karis graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 2005 where she was the vice president and an active member of the Sports Medicine Club treating athletes at many local sporting events. She grew up in Vancouver, Washington and graduated in 1996 from Hudson’s Bay High School where she excelled in track as a javelin thrower. Her accomplishments in track took her south to the University of Oregon where she became an accomplished, nationally ranked, collegiate athlete. She received her Bachelor of science from the University of Oregon in Biology and Exercise and Movement Science in 2001 and is working toward her Diplomate in Pediatric and Family Wellness.
In 2006 Dr. Karis Cooper opened her own practice at Cooper Chiropractic and Massage Therapy in Vancouver Washington and has a special interest in treating pregnant mothers, children and families.
During her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. Dr. Karis’ hobbies include gardening, reading, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and camping.
Dr. Cassi graduated from the University of Western States in 2014 where she was a student ambassador, mentor and tutor to her fellow classmates. She grew up in Olympia, Washington where she loved to explore the outdoors and play soccer. Her love of the Pacific Northwest kept her close to home in Seattle, where she attended the University of Washington. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 2007. After graduating, Dr. Cassi took four years off to stay at home with her two children before starting graduate school. Her love of children is motivating her to pursue her Diplomate in Pediatric and Family Wellness and she thoroughly enjoys her daily work which allows her to treat children, pregnant mothers and families. Dr. Cassi joined Vancouver, Washington’s Cooper Chiropractic Center in July 2014 and has been an exciting addition to the team. Dr. Cassi spends her free time with her two children and enjoys hiking, camping, cooking and painting.
