Class Description
When you work in the trades, QuickBooks can be daunting. In this class specific to construction and other service-related businesses, we’ll cover Estimates, Progress Billing, Change Orders, taking Deposits, receiving partial Payments, and Job Costing.

- Completed our Intro to QuickBooks class, webinar, or video
- or Experience using your company’s QuickBooks
- or Bookkeeping or Accounting experience

- When to create Customer sub-jobs
- Creating Estimates for bids
- Converting Estimates into Invoices
- Closing Estimates if you don’t get the job
- Taking Deposits on work to be performed
- Tracking Change Orders
- Tracking Progress Billing (how much of the work has been done and how much remains)
- Taking partial Payments
- Writing off Invoices
- How to analyze Job Costing using Reports
