Our world is complex, diverse and full of possibility. And this is how our schools should be too. They should be places where unique individuals are celebrated and recognized for their differences. The should be places where the exploration of our differences in a safe, positive and nurturing environment allows us to master the challenges we face, embracing and harnessing the diversity and power of the world around us.


For the past 15 years, The Gardner School has proudly developed exactly this learning environment, establishing itself as the student centered independent school where children in pre-k through eighth grade become critical thinkers, posing and solving problems in a community of learners.


Today The Gardner School looks forward, however, toward the next 15 years. We take this moment to shine the spotlight on our extraordinary school, sharing the joy and wonder of learning at The Gardner School with the greater Vancouver community. At the same time, and in the spirit of "If not us, then who and if not now, then when?" we willingly take up the challenge of extending access to our unique learning environment to those who deserve, but cannot afford it.
