Description
Join WSU Vancouver and Portland State University for an evening of acoustic investigation and art. Phil Uribe, a WSU Vancouver graduate student in neuroscience, will discuss how researching fish can help discover how hearing loss happens and find ways to prevent it. Kimberly Corday, an art major at Portland State, will explore the impact of sound on visual aspects of art. This event is free and open to the public. Located at Velo Cult on NE 42nd Avenue in Portland. Beverages will be available for purchase. For every pint purchased, $1 will be donated to support undergraduate attendance at the Oregon/SW Washington Society for Neuroscience chapter meeting in Spring 2016.
