Let’s Get Certified Workshop

Washington State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE) is the lead agency for certifying minority and women-owned businesses, who wish to obtain government contracting opportunities.  Many private sector companies such as Boeing and Costco also look to OMWBE's state certified firms to meet their supplier diversity goals. Once a business is certified the opportunities are endless. OMWBE certified firms can be goal-counted for State contracts and other procurement opportunities that have diversity goals. This is a great opportunity to increase revenue, grow your business and gain a competitive edge in our State’s economy.

The purpose of the workshop is to inform business owners about the various certifications that are available as an entry into government contracting. Although OMWBE is the sole certifying agency for minority, women, and disadvantaged small businesses in Washington State, it is important that business owners be aware of all options when it comes to certifications. 

This work shop is free and open to the public for any business or private individual thinking of starting a business to attend.
