Make it a ?day on? at WSU Vancouver?s Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service! Join us for workshops, kids? activities and a keynote address by Diana Pei Wu, executive director for Portland Jobs with Justice. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The day?s events will focus on the theme ?Creating a Stronger Community: Building Coalitions and Empowering Allies.? Workshop topics include how to be an ally, power and privilege, and women in leadership. This event is free and open to all and located in the Firstenburg Student Commons. Light refreshments and lunch will be served. Parking is free.
