MAGENTA THEATER PRESENTS: ?Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure? September 25 - October 10, 2015 (matinee and evening shows) Tickets $15 - $18: www.MagentaTickets.com/Tickets Evenings 7:30pm: 9/25, 26, 10/1, 2,3, 7,8,9 Matinees 2:00pm: 10/3, 10/10 Group discounts are available The play begins with the announcement of the death of Sherlock Holmes. It is London and Dr. Watson, Holmes?s trusty colleague and loyal friend, tells the story of the famous detective?s last adventure. This reinterpretation of Sherlock Holmes? last great story is directed by Rebecca Hoffman in her directorial debut at Magenta. Originally set in 1891, Magenta received special permission from the playwright to stage the show in 1960?s London. The story revolves around Sherlock (played by Ryan Thiessen), Professor Watson (played by Jason White) and his arch nemesis Professor Moriarty (played by Jim Caruthers). The King of Bohemia (played by Andrew Pongratz) is blackmailed, and the opera singer, diva Irene Adler (played by Ellie Tauscher), may be one of the suspects. Somehow, Moriarty and his henchman, one of whom is Adler?s husband (Tony Provenzola as Sid Prince and Justin Robert Lizik as Larabee, respectively), another of whom is her maid Madge (played by Jessica Ballard Thiessen), are behind this, and Holmes must walk right into his trap in order to solve his final mystery.
