Local Weavers Display Creations at WSU Vancouver

The intricate textile creations of Maureen Keller, administrative assistant in the office of marketing and communications, and her Wednesday Night Weavers group are on display Feb. 4 - March 25 in the Library building gallery at Washington State University Vancouver. Keller and her 10-member group use floor looms to weave everything from blankets to guitar straps to yoga mats. They will display their creations as well as a table loom, inkle and a sample of card weaving. WSU Vancouver is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Avenue east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205. WSU Vancouver art galleries are open from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday.
