Noxious weeds are non-native plants that can be toxic, destructive, competitive and difficult to control once established. Noxious weeds can also be costly for property owners to manage and remove. Many people often wonder where they ought to begin when they are trying to manage their property. Join Columbia Springs and the Clark County Noxious Weed Control Board on a workshop for managing invasive plants. We’ll discuss troublesome plant species, how they affect local ecology, and common removal techniques for property owners. This workshop will be part presentation, outdoor hike, and Q&A.
