Description
Workshop #5
HOW TECHNOLOGY IMPACTS US IN THE WORKPLACE
Instructor: Kevin Getch, Webfor
Description: Technology will become an ever-present factor in the workplace, creating new challenges, conflicts, and opportunities related to skill building, workplace roles, data management, privacy and security, among others. Managers will need to understand technology enough to keep abreast of and anticipate emerging issues. Understand the power of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application that combines the processes of sales, marketing and customer service related to a specific customer; allowing you to build customer loyalty and a better customer experience.
Bio: Webfor’s Founder and Director of Digital Strategy started his career in marketing over 15 years ago. Having worked for some of the largest fortune 500 companies, in 2009 he felt it was time to venture out on his own. He started Webfor in early 2009 with a business model focused on what he called the 3 R’s (Relationships, Results & ROI). Due in major part to this business philosophy of putting the client first, Webfor has seen enormous growth. Kevin is also a Best Selling Author for Future Proof Your Marketing, How to Grow Your Business with Digital Marketing Now and During the Artificial Intelligence Revolution

About the 2019 Fall Workshop Series "FOSTERING GROWTH IN THE WORKPLACE"
Most people recognize that employees are a company’s greatest asset. Their skills and motivation have a profound impact on our bottom line, yet according to a recent Gallup Poll only 30% of all U.S. workers are engaged in their positions. Even more alarming is the strikingly low percentage -- just 35% -- of U.S. managers themselves are engaged, while 51% are not engaged and 14% are actively disengaged.
What does this mean? This means there is an opportunity for every employee, supervisor, solopreneur, and leader to learn necessary skills that can foster growth and create engagement in the workplace.
If you are seeking ways to develop your employees/key leaders, grow revenues, improve your processes or increase your customer satisfaction and retention, you’ve come to the right place.
GVCC members have access to a series of workshops intended to provide skills and insight into the challenge’s businesses face today. Each workshop is designed to deliver information succinctly, with practical examples and an abundance of discussion.
