Small Business Saturday Workshop Session @ Sweet Spot Skirts!

Stephanie Lynn of Sweet Spot Skirts and Chandra Chase, the GVCC's Programs and Communications Director will take you through the Chamber's Small Business Saturday Program. This is a no-cost event for members of the Chamber, designed for businesses with 15 full time employees or less. 

WORKSHOP: We will showcase the marketing opportunities and collateral available to you (at no additional cost) within the Chamber's Small Business Saturday Campaign. The best part – all participating small businesses will be competing for the $500 Small Business Grant prize via the #LocalThanks social media contest. This contest is a great framework for small business owners to encourage clients, vendors, employees, and peers to post about his/her business on facebook and twitter. It’s a win-win. Word of mouth advertising is the best method of creating new customers and through this contest we will ramp up your marketing effort during the critical holiday season. 

The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it! We will cover the basics, the digital assets you will receive, and tips to make it work for your business.

All participating members will receive an extensive three-part digital asset suite (via FTP file link, for download) to use at your will to promote: 

1. Small Business Saturday on November 26th (nationally recognized day)
2. The "Shop Local" Message with Small Business Saturday Tie in
3. The $500 #LocalThanks hashtag contest

There is more to it - available to participating businesses are additional collateral items like: buttons, signage and counter cards explaining and encouraging your customers to become your "digital advocates" and post about your business from November 1-26th.
