ECONOMIC FORECAST BREAKFAST 2015
Ken Fisher, CEO and Founder of Fisher Investments, will headline the 2015 Economic Forecast Breakfast
The Columbian’s 2015 Economic Forecast Breakfast is Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 7:00 a.m, at the Hilton Vancouver. The cost is $50 a seat; $500 for table of 10 and includes a sit-down breakfast to the keynote presentation and one breakout session. Register online at www.columbian.com/economicforecast or call Community Partnerships at 360-735-4466.
This is the largest presentation of economic information in the greater Portland Metro area, attracting between 400 and 500 attendees.
This year’s Economic Forecast breakfast, presented by The Columbian and Riverview Community Bank, will provide in-depth economic and business information tailored specifically for the business community in Clark County. Ken Fisher’s keynote will give a local outlook and business advice for 2015 and beyond.
Fisher is the founder, CEO and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Fisher Investments, a multi-billion dollar money management firm serving large institutions and high net worth individuals. Fisher Investments, based in California, operates a campus in Camas with hundreds of employees.
Perhaps best known for his prestigious Forbes “Portfolio Strategy” column, Ken Fisher’s 30 years of high-profile market calls make him the third-longest-running columnist in Forbes history. From 1984 through 2012 Fisher wrote 10 books, including four New York Times bestsellers.
Following the keynote address, attendees will have the opportunity to attend one of four breakout panel sessions. The four panels feature local experts with topics including; Emerging Small Business, Opportunities for Large Employers, Housing and Commercial Development, and Economic Development Opportunities.
The successful student program, sponsored by BergerABAM, continues to attract high school and college students. Teachers registering five students are free. The first fifty students and their advisers are offered free seats to the event by calling Audri Bomar at The Columbian, 360-735-4466.
The Economic Forecast began as a special business feature presented by The Columbian in the mid-1980s. In 1995, a breakfast was added to give panelists a public forum to present their views prior to the Sunday publication of a special section in The Columbian that includes in-depth information on these topics.
Special thanks to the sponsors of the 2015 Economic Forecast; Riverview Community Bank,
TMG - The Management Group, BergerABAM and Ginn Realty Group.
