Harness the Power of Digital Platforms and Dominate the Marketing Game
On Thursday, April 28th the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) will host our first "Digital Technology Luncheon" from 12-1:30pm at the Hilton. The Blazers, Timbers and HOPS will go head-to-head at our Digital Technology Luncheon, refereed Kim Capeloto of Riverview Community Bank. The “GOAL” is to learn about technology platforms these teams utilize to drive sales, engagement and participation of their fan bases. This will be a “SLAM DUNK!” You’ll learn how to “HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK” with your customers through emerging and established digital communication channels.

About our Panelists:
TJ Ansley
Director of Digital Media
Portland Trail Blazers and the Rose Quarter
Entering his third season as Director of Digital Media with the Trail Blazers and Rose Quarter, TJ Ansley oversees the execution of all digital media and mobile app development for the Trail Blazers and Rose Quarter properties. Under his leadership the team underwent significant responsive website redesigns on trailblazers.com and rosequarter.com to embrace a mobile first approach for the fans, resulting in record growth. Previously Ansley spent four seasons with the Columbus Crew of MLS, overseeing all digital content. While in Columbus, Ansley was awarded the 2012 MLS Digital Lead of the Year for his leadership and innovation in digital media. Ansley is a native of Ohio and attended Eastern Michigan University, where he majored in Communication Technology. He and his wife, Kelly, and their two children, Hudson and Phoebe, reside in Southeast Portland.

2016 marks Marc’s ninth season with the organization. In his current role as Director of Marketing, Marc manages the club’s day-to-day social media platforms, e-marketing initiatives, digital advertising, T2 and Stand Together community marketing strategy and a variety of promotional programming. Marc graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in Communications. Marc and his wife Adele have two children, Benson (4) and Addison (a week old).
K.L. Wombacher

K.L. Wombacher graduated from Central Washington University in 2001 with a degree in Fitness and Sports Management. Started his professional career in sports as an Intern with the Yakima Bears (single A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) in 2001. K.L. was named the organization’s third general manager prior to the 2005 season. He led the organization to 5 consecutive attendance increases with an emphasis on community involvement and an aggressive outside sales approach. When the Portland territory opened up after the 2010 season, K.L. led the relocation effort to the Portland metro. After successfully negotiating a 20 year partnership with the City of Hillsboro including a new ballpark for the 2013 season, the team moved with an initial staff of 3 others from Yakima. Wombacher was responsible for overseeing the concept design and development of the Hops brand, the design and construction of the ballpark, the PR effort around the launch of the team, community outreach program, corporate partnership sales, and development of the front office. Wombacher has twice been named NWL Executive of the year (2008, 2013) and in 2015, K.L. was named to the Portland Business Journal's prestigious 40 under 40 class. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Wombacher now resides in Hillsboro with his wife Lauren and their daughter Madison. During off-season free time, they enjoy going to other sporting events like Blazers and Timbers games and traveling to locations with lots of sun!
