Description
"The best training I ever had."
Community Mediation Services' highly-acclaimed Professional Mediation and Conflict Management Training starts May 1, 2015.
Community Mediation Services is a nonprofit organization that has trained and mentored hundreds of mediators over the past twenty years. Our expertise comes from applying real-life lessons learned from helping hundreds of community members resolve disputes.
"The training is very comprehensive from trainers that are very good at translating implementation/theories."
This training provides a foundation for positive communication and conflict resolution skills that will improve your relationships at work and at home, regardless of whether you want to be a professional mediator. We present an interest-based and facilitative approach to conflict resolution that empowers people to resolve disputes.
"Entertaining and easy to follow..."
You’ll love our great adult learning approaches which include lecture, demonstrations, large and small group exercises and simulated mediations. Many experienced mediators will act as presenters and individual coaches, which allows participants to experience diverse styles of mediating.
"The training offered by CMS is something that can benefit everyone regardless of whether they want to be a mediator, because it teaches the skills necessary to resolve everyday disputes in a healthy way that facilitates growth for both parties."
