WSU Vancouver is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave. in Vancouver, east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205, or via C-Tran bus service.
Learn about WSU's industry-leading wine and viticulture program and its role in the state's burgeoning wine industry. Speaker Thomas Henick-Kling, director of the new Wine Science Center at WSU Tri-Cities, will discuss how the wine industry is creating jobs and powering the economy. Attendees will explore resources for Southwest Washington vintners and learn how to promote Washington wines. Local perspectives offered by Mill Creek Pub owner, Russell Brent and Walt Houser, owner of Bethany Vineyard and Winery. This seminar is located in the Firstenburg Student Commons. Registration for this event is $25 and includes lecture, lunch and parking.
