This certification is required by the Department of Ecology for all storm-water permitted construction sites over an acre. The course will cover the erosion control process, correct measures to manage erosion and sediment proper installation of different storm-water control devices called Best Management Practices (or BMP’s), and how to inspect and maintain them. In addition, the course identifies regulations, compliance, responsibility and liability. The certification is good for three (3) years. Instructor: Alex Zimmerman *Re-certs must show valid CESCL card. Re-certs cannot be granted to cards expired over 6 months ago. February 21-22 Certification 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Site visit on the first day. Please bring vest, hard hat, and boots. February 23 Re-Certification 8:00-4:00 pm Re-certs must show a CESCL card no more than 6 months expired. COST: SWCA Members: $175/250, Nonmembers: $250/350 *Reflective of re-certification and certification
