The party will feature Portland?s geek band, The Doubleclicks; a performance of ?Artemis Spaceship Simulator,? a game set on the bridge of ?Star Trek?s? Starship Enterprise; and the ?Church of Robotron,? an interactive game installation involving lasers, LED lights and competitive game play. Other events scheduled during the month-long exhibit include a Unity Roadshow, an indie game show and tell, a double-feature movie screening of ?Indie Game: The Movie,? and ?Atari: Game Over,? and video game competitions featuring ?Castle Crashers,? ?Runbow? and ?Rocket League.? ?Game Changers: Reinventing Storytelling Through Video Games? 10 a.m. ? 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays March 4 ? 26 Red Lion Inn at the Quay, 100 Columbia Street, Vancouver The exhibit and related events are free and open to the public. Presented by WSU Vancouver?s Creative Media and Digital Culture Program, the exhibit features more than 30 indie video games. Independent game developers have impacted the assumptions of traditional storytelling and reinvented the way narrative games are played. The exhibit explores video game genres, aesthetics, perspectives, platforms and development methods.
