Welcome everyone! Can you all hear me? Great, let’s get started.
To begin, this week has been overwhelming. On behalf of the Chamber I'd like to express that we are proud to call you a part of our community. We’ve seen an array of support and positivity on social media, between conversations, and from the many, many takeout and delivery options we’ve been offered. Catering to the community first is something our businesses do best.
From Governor Jay Inslee’s first order of Stay Home & Stay Safe and the list of essential businesses, to the adjustments regarding construction – our business community has been handed some challenging cards to say the least. Our Chamber staff is working nonstop to supply our members and future members resources that are up to date with employment and unemployment protocol, small business funding, as well as information from the federal government that could provide any type of assistance. You can stay updated by bookmarking VancouverUSA.com/COVID-19 where we add information daily with new resources as they come.
Keeping things light today, I wanted to share with you some links to items that may be of use. Feel free to connect with us if you’d like to add to a specific list, or if there are any areas of interest you would like to see.
Offering Help:
- PPE Mask & Surgical Cap Donations – The Chamber is now hosting a donation webpage where you can purchase masks and surgical caps to be donated to local medical and veterinary clinics. Best of all, our partners WellHaven Pet Health and Compassion-First Pet Hospitals will MATCH every single donation. All proceeds go toward SW Washington manufacturers.
