Description
Dozer Day is the ultimate construction experience: putting kids in the driver's seat to operate Dump Trucks, Dozers, Excavators all while educating about building sustainable communities, industry opportunities and public safety. There is something for everyone with music, food, giveaways, digging for treasures (including real gemstones), pipe and tire crawls, garbage trucks, fire trucks, an ambulance and MUCH more! Young guests receive a FREE, official Dozer Day hardhat and will enjoy collecting sponsor stickers for their hat while they get their "Dig" on! Also, once admission is paid, all rides are FREE with just a couple activities requiring a donation to participate. Why is Dozer Day Important? Dozer Day exists to educate and inspire the next generation of construction professionals, however, the fun doesn't end after the big weekend?Although the Nutter Foundation?s primary contribution is Dozer Day, money raised through the event benefits many children's charities like schools, sports booster clubs, child enrichment/support services and other well-deserving, non-profits. Dozer Day Vancouver is ALWAYS the 3rd weekend in May. For 2016 it will be Saturday, May 21st, and Sunday, May 22nd opening to the public from 11am till 4pm both days. Dozer Day is held at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Ridgefield, Washington. Just off the I-5 at Exit 9. Dozer Day is held RAIN OR SHINE, so if you see clouds, don?t let that stop you! Grab your rain boots and jackets and enjoy playing in the puddles with us. Please no smoking and no pets at Dozer Day with the exception of service animals.
