Part I. Communication and Conflict Management February 15 & 22, 2013, 8AM - 5PM Includes conflict theory and styles, active listening techniques, trust building, collaborative negotiations, and conflict management tools for home and in the workplace. Part II. Basic Mediation Skills March 1, 22 & 29, 2013, 8AM - 5 PM Basic Mediation Skills focuses on the mediation process and the mediator's role and ethics. Register for Part I or combine Parts I and II for 40-Hour Basic Mediation Training Certificate. You'll love our great adult learning approaches which include lecture, demonstrations, large and small group exercises and simulated mediations. Many experienced mediators will act as presenters and individual coaches, which allows participants to experience diverse styles of mediating.
