About Us

The Columbian reporters are the storytellers and the recorders of Clark County. They are the scouts invited into our community’s homes, streets, workplaces, wildlands and government buildings to seek the truth and report it.

The Columbian’s Community Funded Journalism opens the door for community members to support local journalism: stories that uncover the truth about homelessness, housing, transportation and the environment. These stories reveal what’s working and not, and they bring our community together by sharing experiences of those we interview.

The project will fund additional reporters at The Columbian, allowing the entire reporting staff to specialize more in their own categories of coverage and dig deeper under the surface of their stories.
