The Role:

As a Box Office Attendant, you will be responsible for communicating to our guests about event information and ticket pricing as well as additional amenities that the venue has to offer, such as VIP Club Access. You will work directly with the Box Office Manager to determine what offers will be available for each show, and how this will be communicated to our guests. It is the perfect position for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys working independently while still being part of a team.

 

Job Functions:

  • Greet all guests and assist in answering any questions they may have about the venue.
  • Sell tickets and all the various upsells offered at each event including VIP Seating and Club access.
  • Provide accommodations for guests with special needs on day of show.
  • Inform guests of the layout of the venue and be prepared to direct them to the restrooms, concession stands and designated seats/sections.
  • Know how identify a fake ticket or credential and educate the guest on where to buy authentic tickets.
  • Communicate daily concert promotions, upgrades, future ticket deals to guests.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down chairs, signs, and tables as needed.
  • Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules.
  • Handle credit card transactions according to Live Nation's audit guidelines.
  • Balance out at the end of each shift with the Box Office Manager or on duty supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:

Required

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiar with iPhone and iPad technology
  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including late evenings

Preferred

  • Point of sales experience
  • Customer service experience

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
