Support Local
Southwest Washington is home to local businesses of all sizes and industries, ready to meet any consumer or business needs. From advertising firms to veterinary clinics, our member directory offers solutions from your neighbors who are invested in our community.
Why #ShopLocal?
Did you know that studies show when we shop at a locally owned business 47.7% of every dollar stays in the local community and another 9% stays in the state. That is more than $.50 of every dollar stays in our community when we shop locally owned businesses.
Supporting local businesses radiates out to supporting jobs for our neighbors, invests economically and socially in our community, and offers opportunities for local philanthropy. Think of it like a mini economic stimulus every time you shop locally.
Customer service from a small business that lives and thrives off loyal customers is likely going to be of a higher quality than customer service from a large corporation with little to no investment in the community.

Values-Based Brand Strategy™ Workshop for Small Businesses and Nonprofits
Brand strategy is the legwork that needs to be done in order to build the most efficient deliverables (all the visual collateral: logos, typefaces, illustration and photography style plus the verbal messaging: voice and tone, marketing copy, etc.) that resonate with your target audience groups, motivating them to engage and become repeat clients. Once you have the strategy in place, a strong foundation is laid for the visuals and marketing content driven by strategic purpose and meaning, rather than by arbitrary aesthetic preferences that can change over time.
Even though we offer our expertise to historically disadvantaged small businesses and nonprofits in the Northwest at cost we want to help more people grow. This is why we are excited to offer our tired and true Values-Based Brand Strategy™ Workshop at a fraction of the cost of our done for you branding services.
In this course we will:
- Define your brand purpose and why you are in business.
- Identify your organizations brand values and core driving values that influence how you do business.
- Craft your unique brand mission, vision, promise, and story.
- Analyze your brand name and architecture so you can stand out from your competitors.
- Develop your dream client and brand personas and where to do market research.
- Clarify your competitive analysis, brand placement, and unique selling propositions.
- Cultivate your brand voice, tone, and style along with recognizing how color and typography choices influence the way people perceive your brand.
- Pinpoint what responsive branding and branding systems are and what needs to be considered with every customer touchpoint.
Included in our workshop is an interactive digital PDF plus a printed copy of Sprout Partners’ 36-page values-based brand strategy workbook (an $889 value). This workbook walks you through our Values-Based Brand Strategy™ method in laying the groundwork for identifying and communicate with your brands target audience. We normally charge thousands of dollars to conduct a four hour workshop with clients to harvest all this information. If you are looking for a cost-effective done with you solution then our workshop along with this workbook will get you the same information and coaching as our private workshops but for a minimal dollar investment.
This course normally sells for $889 but chamber members only pay $756!
